2011 Poker Party
The Poker Party raised over $6000 for local charity, Moment by Moment, this year. Moment by Moment is a 501(c)3 non-profit established in 2006. Their goal is to from behind the camera lens, capture the hope, courage, determination and love of families experiencing a potential life limiting illness of a child. Professional photographers throughout California collaborate with Moment by Moment to capture images of these special children -- lives filled with spirit, hope and courage.
Referrals are made through staff members at the California Children's Hospitals. The portrait sessions are either arranged to take place in the hospital or more often, in the family's home town (at a park, the photographer's studio, etc.) Each family receives an individual portrait session with a professional photographer. After the session, they are sent a copyable CD and prints of all images taken during the session. At no time is the family, hospital or hospice ever charged for the photographer's time, the prints or their delivery.

The Fall Fundraiser benefiting Love A Child Missions was held at beautiful Diablo Country Club on October 3, 2010. Since 1984, Love-A-Child has been serving needy women and children of Contra Costa County by providing emergency shelter, food, clothing, and offering hope through substance recovery programs, job training, educational support, and many other programs. The event featured New York Times Best Selling Author Melanie Gideon, a shopping boutique, silent auction and luncheon.

The 2010 Spring Poker Party was held May 22nd at the Greenbrook Club House. The event benefited Foster A Dream, an organization that provides programs and resources to build the hopes, dreams and futures of Bay Area foster children.

2009 Fall Fashion Show & Luncheon
The 2009 Fall Fashion Show & Luncheon was held at the beautiful Diablo Country Club and benefited Contra Costa Interfaith Housing (CCIH). CCIH is a nonprofit, charitable human services agency dedicated to ending the trauma of homelessness for residents of Contra Costa County. CCIH membership includes more than twenty inter-denominational, faith-based communities who cooperate and share resources and skills, developing affordable permanent housing and quality support services. CCIH allows individuals and families the opportunity to stabilize their health, enhance self-sufficiency, and break the cycle of homelessness.

The Spring Poker Tournament benefited the Down Syndrome Connection of the Bay Area. The mission of the foundation is to promote the unique contributions of children and adults with Down syndrome by providing direct services to them and their families, and to educate the general public by fostering inclusive and integrated involvement with the Down syndrome community and society at large.

2006 Fall Fashion Show was held at Blackhawk Country Club in Danville. More than 200 guests enjoyed browsing and bidding on an array of auction prizes, shopping at our vendor fair and dining in Blackhawk Country Club's beautiful ball room while watching fashions from an array of local boutiques.
