About the Danville Children's Guild The Danville Children's Guild was established in 1975 by a group of Oakland East-Bay Junior League women who wanted to concentrate on their own community. In the more than thirty years since the group was founded, yearly fundraisers have provided monetary support for children's charities throughout Contra Costa County.
Our Mission The Danville Children's Guild is an organization of women committed to improving the quality of life for children in Contra Costa County by raising funds for various children's charities and youth organizations. Our purpose is exclusively charitable.
2010 Guild Profile The 2010 Danville Children's Guild is comprised of approximately 30 women from throughout Contra Costa County. The group meets monthly and develops programs and events throughout the year to assist various children's charities in our county.
